An honest day’s pay
Well, I have a job finally.? And I have to say it looks quite enjoyable, with enough of a creative element to it to keep me interested.? I will be working as a Project Officer for a private organisation (Govt funded) that creates links between schools and industry.? It’s basically designed to help students who are “wobbling” make the transition to work, while also helping potential employers understand the needs and the abilities of those looking for work.? I’ll be working on two projects, one with employers, providing them with PD and information, and one with a local high school, helping a group of at-risk young people make out career paths.? The pay’s ok, the conditions are fine, the people I work with are a good team, and they’ve deliberately slotted me into positions that are local to where we live.
So, house sorted, baby born, job found, now to plant a church.
