Summer In The City is almost over.? I feel like a 110m hurdler who clipped the fifth hurdle and is staggering over the final few on the way to the tape.? But we’re nearly there and it’s been great.?

The most impressive thing about it for me is that the sub-teams each tapped into the mission that the household congregations were involved in already.? It means that they simply intensified what was already going on, rather than conducting a “smash and grab” raid, which is what so many missions tend to do.? Relationships have been formed, or strengthened, but they don’t have to be broken just because the caravan has rolled out of town and onto the next place.? The substance of what we did all week is still there in our households.? Will talk about this more in the coming days as I think it is crucial to what we want to do when we go back home to Perth in 3-and-a-half? months time (surely not! – Ed)
