A wet and cold Bank Holiday Monday in Sheffield.? What else to do than to find a treasure map and sail the seven seas in search of booty!? Sophie dressed up in eye patch and pirate’s hat.? There were messages in bottles and? sails to? mend.? When lashed together the chairs sailed beautifully over the aqua green carpet ‘twixt kitchen and hallway.? Believe it or not – given that? my artistic abilities peaked at Year two – I drew the map freehand!? Fortunately we arrived back in port in time for dinner.

augh Steve … , I mean Captain Steve sir …, honourable pirate sir …

Why does the island look like a lot like a modified version of that other island – Orstrayleah? Nice palm tree on the coast – in Broome eh! A bit worried about the spike in the middle of the island. Too close to things precious things like Pie ‘n Gap.

If it makes you feel better I tend to remember rain on Tuesday back here in “sunny” Perth.

Great to watch your bloggin’ from afar. It must be pretty good right up close too.

    Best wishes, Chris

    Hi Chris

Yeah – Sophie did notice the similarity to Australia. I guess I miss it more than I know!
